Before you land

The airport is a shuttle, a taxi, or a rental car. Install first. The hotel zone and downtown are not the same place, and the transfer desk assumes you know which one you booked.

Getting around

Buses run the hotel zone. Ferries to Isla Mujeres and boats toward the ruins are timed. A rental car for the day is a map problem the whole way.

Practical notes

USD is widely taken and a poor habit; cards work in the zone. Plugs are type A and B. Screenshot the ferry time.
