Singapore is dense, air-conditioned, and full of hotel wifi, and you will still want data the second you are between malls in the rain.
Before you land
Changi is one of the few airports where the wifi is good enough to install an eSIM if you forgot. The MRT into town is signed in English. Do it before the jet bridge if you can anyway.
Getting around
The MRT is the system. Grab fills the gaps and the late night. Walking is pleasant until it pours, which is often, and then you want a car and a map.
Practical notes
Cards work almost everywhere. Plugs are type G. The city is strict about chewing gum and not strict about phone use; keep the obvious etiquette and you are fine.
